Create a record.
From the menu on the left select Tools
Click on the "Add new" button to create a new record.
Study the options in the following screen.
Check the checkbox next to "Active" to activate the coupon. You can always de-activate the coupon by un-checking that checkbox in the future.
Next insert the "Coupon code." You can use any alphanumeric characters. Examples: cou736g, 83272376, 234e9, etc.
In the "Discount" field enter a flat amount for deducting it from the product's price; example 2 will deduct 2 dollars (given that you use the USD currency) from the product's price in the order page. Alternatively you can insert a percentage, for example 50% will change the price to half, and so on. Make sure to include the % character if you want to use a percentage coupon.
The next section is useful if you charge your customers a recurring amount. Skip it if you charge a flat price. Otherwise you can select from the radio buttons to apply the coupon in all installments, to the trial/first installment only or to the recurring installments only (ie. not in the first charge but only to the following ones.)
The next section allows you to control who can benefit from that coupon. If you want to offer the coupon to all customers then check the "All customers" and "Any Product in any Package" checkboxes and then save the record.
If you want to offer the coupon to (a) specific customer(s) then uncheck the "All customers" checkbox and click on the windows' icon in the "Select customer(s) field. From the pop up window, click on the names of the customers you want to offer the coupon and close the pop up window. The records of the customers will be displayed automatically on screen.
You just created the record of the Coupon. 👌
You can repeat the process to add new records if your DELAVO plans allows it.
